Or Send Using Another Method
If you have another file transfer service that you prefer (DropBox,
Google Drive, WeTransfer, etc.) and we can receive those files without
paying for an account, then please send the files to
waveshopaudio@gmail.com
For Mixing
Individual .WAV stems of each track at the recorded
resolution (preferably 24 Bit / 48 kHz or 24 Bit / 44.1 kHz). These
should be “dry” (i.e. with no added effects). If there is an absolutely
crucial effect (“The song needs this delay!”), please send both the dry
stem and one with the effect on it (or the effect separately). Please
also send a rough mix as well so that we can hear how you hear it. This
serves as a good starting point so that we can stay consistent with the
artist’s vision. You may also send reference tracks of another artist,
past mix, or whatever it is to convey a specific “sound” you want to
achieve.
How to Bounce & Prepare .WAV files:
For Mastering Please send your final, two-track mix at its full-quality .WAV file with headroom and preferably no heavy limiting on the master bus. For Editing You can send your Pro Tools session with minimal tracks and edit ready. This means when we open the session we can hear exactly what we are editing and there isn’t a lot of extra data. (Please don’t send 20 guitar tracks when all we are doing is editing drums.) Simplify.
